Robin and I had the pleasure of supporting the Caney Lake Community Foundation at their shrimp boil held at Hooks Marina on Caney Lake in Chatham. We had a blast and met a lot of great folks. I was glad to see my long-time friend and Jackson Parish School Board member, Bart Waggoner. I greatly appreciate his support and encouragement. I was also excited to meet Steve Slezak, Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 523. Cub Scout Pack 523 was also there assisting.
